PURPOSE AND GOALS

Baker Co., 1st Battalion, 117th Regiment, 30th Infantry Division of Middle Tennessee, is a Not-For-Profit Re-Enactment unit, dedicated to preserving the military history of the United States by displaying WWII-era uniforms, equipment, and vehicles. We stage mock battles, travel to public events, and assist in preserving our nation’s history.

We have chosen to portray soldiers of the 30th Infantry Division, because of the uncommon valor and courageous sacrifices these men made during World War II. This unit was originally comprised of National Guard from Tennessee, North and South Carolina.

Our goals are to help educate the public, and keep alive, the general history of WWII… AND in some small way say Thank You! The “Greatest Generation” of brave Americans who served their country at home and abroad during World War II honors us.

No political statements or actions are allowed under the unit name or uniform. We are not a hate group. We do not support any such organization or group. We are not a militia organization.
